The Hellenic Republic, commonly known as Greece, is located in southeastern Europe on the southern end of the Balkan Peninsula.  Greece is bordered by the countries of Bulgaria, Macednia, Albania, and Turkey.  Greece also has coastline on the Aegean and Ionian Seas, and there are many islands around the country.

Greek landlines are mostly run by OTE, a former state telecom monopoly.  Since privatization and deregulation, OTE has been losing market share to competing telecom operators such as Vivodi, Q-Telecom, Tellas and Forthnet. As of 2005, OTE's share on the market hovered around 76%.  Greece also has four mobile telecom companies; Cosmote, Vodafone, TIM and Q-Telecom.

Premium Rate Numbers are available in Greece for both mobile and landline phones.  Service numbers in Greece can be billed on a Pay-Per-Call or Pay-Per-Minute Premium Rates although Pay-Per-Call is not available on mobile numbers.  Our value-added service can help you with your EETT (Greek National Regulator) application.
